We collect the minimum amount of information necessary to operate Sorted Picks and improve your experience. Specifically:

Email addresses — collected when you voluntarily sign up for our newsletter. We never purchase email lists or collect addresses from third parties.

Click analytics — when you click an affiliate link, we record the referrer URL, UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign), and user agent string. We do not store IP addresses.

Page views — we track basic page view data to understand which content is most useful to our readers.

Product recommendations — we use your email address to send curated product picks and deals. We send a maximum of two emails per week.

Traffic analysis — we analyze referrer and UTM data to understand where our visitors come from and which content resonates, so we can create better recommendations.

Affiliate link performance — we track clicks on affiliate links to measure which products our readers find most valuable and to maintain our partnerships with retailers.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the site. Each processes data according to their own privacy policies:

Cloudflare — hosting and CDN delivery. Cloudflare may process request metadata (such as IP addresses) as part of standard web hosting.

Cloudflare D1 — native database where we store subscriber emails and click analytics.

Resend — used to send transactional email alerts. The provider processes recipient email addresses as necessary to deliver messages.

We do not use tracking cookies. We do not use third-party analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or pixels. Your browsing on Sorted Picks is not tracked across other websites.

Email addresses — retained for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your email is marked as inactive. You can request permanent deletion at any time.

Click analytics — individual click records (referrer, UTM parameters, user agent) are retained for 90 days, after which they are permanently deleted.

You have control over your data. Here is what you can do:

Unsubscribe — every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. No questions asked, effective immediately.

Request data deletion — contact us at contact@sortedpicks.com and we will permanently delete all data associated with your email address.

For residents of the European Union (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data. You also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For residents of California (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.

Sorted Picks is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
